Our Philosophy

It's very simple. We teach in a simplified and non-glorified manner about wine and food pairing. Enjoyment of wine can be found in our own palates and not someone's else. Our culinary classes are available on a weekly basis, and offer you the opportunity to learn new cooking techniques that compliment the wines. Our approach is friendly, casual and a lot of fun!

About Amne Livingston

Born on the east coast, Amne at the age of nine was raised on a farm until she left home at seventeen for college. She recalls her time in Maine learning how to make goat cheese, jellies, butter and smoking hams for weeks at a time to store food and assist with feeding the family of 13.  After the University of New England, Amne graduated with a Computer Science degree and was employed in this field for quite sometime.  During her mid twenties, Amne moved to Colorado and it was here, where she claims 'she got more creative' and would spend hours in the kitchen on a new given project.

Amne is a self taught cook, and is continually learning and experimenting with classic ideas (such as sauces) to challenge herself. During the spring, she loves to prepare light refreshing meals that have a lot of flavor and little calories. 

Amne uses fresh herbs, spices, and homemade sauces to create many of the dishes that you will learn from the culinary classes. As a cook, she felt it was instrumental to study food and wine pairing, so in 2005, she acquired her Certification as a Level II Sommelier at the International Wine Guild in Denver, Colorado.  Amne currently holds weekly wine tasting events at a local wine and liquor store in Highlands Ranch. She loves teaching others and will happily put together a Wine Tasting event that suits your budget. We hope that you have the opportunity to work with Amne as she puts all of her talents into this fun line of work!

Livingston Estates was originally a real estate investment business and as the economy came to a screeching halt; a revamping of Livingston Estates website was direly needed. Livingston Estates has been in business since 2001 and is located in the beautiful countryside of Sedalia, Colorado.
