wine list. Panic no longer! Discover how to interpret a wine list, inquire,
select and order like a pro. Learn to disarm the wine steward, impress your table mates, and fine
tune your wine-speak.
Amne Livingston,
a certified Level II Sommelier has been educating wine aficionados for years. Her
straight forward style of teaching enables you to discover something
about the cultural aspects of wine.

WINE IN THE HUDSON GARDENS
Enjoy the beauty of the
season strolling through the beautiful gardens of The Hudson Gardens & Event Center.
These classes are taught by gardening and art professionals. You may view the gardens
from 4-5 pm prior to your class session. Check in at the Gift Shop and identify yourself
as an ACC class participant for that day. Additionally, meet your instructor 10 minutes
prior to the class start time at the gazebo located in front of the gift shop
at the main parking area. Classes are held in the Hudson Residence, a one-story home located northwest
of the gazebo.
Wines: The Essence of French Terroir
— Amne Livingston
Local certified Sommelier, Amne explores the epitome
of France’s culinary and wine experience. Sample French wines and regional
cheeses that exemplify the terroir experience. Examine pairings, geological traditions
and history, great vintages, and why agriculture is important to these wines. Test for
yourself why French wines stand the test of time. Eight French regional wines and 6 different
cheeses will be tasted.
*You must register by April 16.
